NZXT has recently announced a new mid tower chassis following the footprint of the classic Phantom styling – the NZXT Phantom 240 Mid Tower Case. The Phantom 240 brings the Phantom’s iconic high octane blend of mesh, performance, and style to a small and affordable package. As you look at the front panel you can see the heavy use of mesh specially engineered to provide optimal airflow with a hint of that classic NZXT asymmetrical styling. NZXT Phantom 240 Features
The NZXT Phantom 240 sports the same aggressive exterior design look of the Phantom 530 in a smaller form factor. In the front panel, it has the company’s next generation FN V2 120mm fan for better airflow and quieter operation. The front of the case supports up to two 120mm fans while the bottom can support an additional 120mm fan.
The front I/O panel is located on the front top portion of the case, and is fitted with two USB 3.0 ports and a standard HD Audio headphone and microphone ports. Inside the NZXT Phantom 240, there is a single removable hard drive cage to give you the option to keep the cage for drive capacity or remove the cage for more active cooling performance. It also features the same tool-less 3.5-inch hard drive trays for hassle-free HDD installation.
There is plenty of room for cable management in the Phantom 240. It features seven cable routing holes and more than twenty zip tie locations to make even the most cluttered PC, stay cool and hot spot free. The case also includes a 120mm exhaust fan, and you can install either two 120mm or 140mm fans on the top of the case. Of course, you can install a radiator on the top if you want.
