WD Black 6TB Benchmark Results

ATTO Disk Benchmark
ATTO Disk Benchmark is a popular disk benchmark tool used to test hard drives, SSD drives, HBAs, RAID Adapters and Storage Controllers. It measures the storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Most of the time it returns the highest possible read/write speed compared to most benchmarking tools for storage.

The resulting numbers from testing the WD Black 6TB is surprisingly high for a hard disk drive. You don’t normally get above 200MB/s of sequential read and write speed from a hard drive. But the 6TB Black was able to reach it without any problem. I’ll explain more in the conclusion part of this review on the next page.
