For the 1440p gaming tests, the graphics settings are pretty much the same for consistency. All games are set to their highest graphics presets (ultra or very High) and graphics resolution is set to 2560×1440. Below are the results I got:

The GTX 1080 Ti can pretty much handle all games at ultra-details, with above 60 fps on a 1440p resolution without breaking a sweat. You may want to get a GTX 1080 Ti if you are using a high refresh rate 1440p monitor. Or, again, if you want to play some of the most demanding games on the market at ultra or very high graphics settings.

Next page let’s see how the Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition performs on a 4K UHD or 2160p resolution. This is where the real challenge begins, as the jump from 1440p to 2160p is significant.
