Asus Rampage V Extreme Benchmark Results
The Intel Core i7-5960X is supposed to be the perfect partner of the Rampage V Extreme. Unfortunately, the CPU that was loaned to us was a bad overclocker. I was able to overclock it at 4.1GHz but it didn’t stayed stable long enough for a test to finish. I’ve tried every possible setting but no luck at all. The CPU is really a bad one and can’t be overclocked above 4GHz. This is one of those situations where you get unlucky. It’s a fully functional CPU, but can’t be overclocked above 4GHz. All Intel Core i7-5960X I’ve seen used in reviews were able to reach more than 4GHz easily. Anyway for the rest of the test, I decided to stay at 3.75GHz. Below are the results.
