Asus ROG Rampage V Edition 10 X99 Motherboard Surfaced Online

Recently Asus’ upcoming and new X99 motherboard, the Asus ROG Rampage V Edition 10 surfaced online, thanks to nexthardware. The motherboard actually looks somewhat similar with the recently announced Asus STRIX X99 Gaming, also featuring an all-black design with some LED cosmetics. While the ROG STRIX X99 Gaming is geared towards enthusiasts and PC gamers, the ROG Rampage V Edition 10 is geared towards overclockers who want to squeeze out every juice from their system.

Compared to the current Asus ROG Rampage V Extreme, gone is the red and black color theme with the new ROG Rampage V Edition 10. Like I said, it looks very similar with the new ROG STRIX X99 Gaming. However, the ROG Rampage V Edition 10 looks more badass than the STRIX X99. It also has (more) RGB illumination and expect that this will be the new X99 flagship motherboard from the company.

It’s fairly not easy to tell all the components present on the Rampage V Edition 10 based from the photo alone. But it will most likely feature a dual Intel Gigabit LAN, WiFi with Bluetooth, USB 3.1 and USB 3.1 including Type-C connector. It will also feature and support a number of storage options like SATA, U.2 NVMe and M.2 as well.

There are also four PCIe 3.0 x16 on the Asus ROG Rampage V Edition 10, a PCIE x1 and PCIE x4 slot. Onboard debug, reset and power buttons are also present as well as the other features found on the Rampage V Extreme. In addition, there’s an Asus Aura RGB on the right side, most probably placed between the PCB and the back plate.

No words yet regarding its pricing, I expect that this motherboard will be priced higher than the Asus STRIX X99.
