Asus Will Lower Its GeForce RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards This Spring

Great news PC enthusiasts and gamers! As you may have noticed, graphics card prices are going down. I’m not exactly sure if the silicone supply is finally catching up. Or, perhaps they need to sell all the RTX 30 series cards before the RTX 40 series cards are released. It could be both though. But Asus is lowering its GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards for another reason. More details from the official news release are below.

asus geforce rtx 30 graphics card prices to lower

This Spring ASUS will lower prices on its GeForce RTX 30-Series Graphic Cards

As a result of the latest tariff lift on Chinese imports from the Office of the United States Trade Representative, Gamers and PC enthusiasts will see lower prices on ASUS GeForce RTX 30-series graphic cards starting on April 1st, 2022.

ASUS is among the first to pass these savings on to its consumers. Lower prices will affect entry-level GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3060, mid-range RTX 3070, and high-performance RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards. Consumers should expect prices to decline up to 25% on different models throughout the springtime.

That’s the entirety of the press release. Just short notice actually. I hope all of these cards will have a huge 25% cut, or at least the prices would be nearer to the original MSRP set by NVIDIA when they released the RTX 30 series cards a couple of years ago.
