Best Prebuilt Gaming PC with RTX 3090 Ti or RTX 3080 (Ti) Graphics Card

Getting a prebuilt gaming PC is much better these days compared to a few months ago or last year. Graphics cards are back in stock and Intel has released its latest 12th gen Alder Lake processors. Not only that, AMD has lowered its prices on some of their latest Ryzen 5000 processors. Listed in this article are some of the best prebuilt desktop gaming PCs that are powered by a GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 3080 Ti, or RTX 3080. The latest and fastest CPUs from Intel and AMD also power these gaming PCs. Since these prebuilt gaming PCs are built with the latest and fastest hardware, they are on the expensive side, though. Go ahead and check them below.

UPDATE: Prebuilt gaming PCs with the latest RTX 4090 GPU and the fastest gaming CPU are now available. I recommend you get the latest since they are significantly faster than the previous generation. You can check the best RTX 4090 prebuilt gaming PCs here.

Best Prebuilt Gaming PCs with RTX 3090 Ti or RTX 3080 (Ti) GPUs – Intel and AMD

If you don’t want to build your own gaming PC due to various reasons, then the other option is to buy a prebuilt system. Not only that, you don’t have to worry about getting the parts, but it should work right out of the box. All you need to do is set up the PC, download some games and start playing.

Now, most of the gaming PCs I listed here are from System Integrators or SI. SI doesn’t manufacture any of the parts; instead, they assemble and build gaming PCs using different components from different brands. OEMs, on the other hand, are large companies like Asus, Alienware, HP, or MSI. They use their components for their PC. Although some SIs, like Computer Upgrade King (CUK), also sell prebuilt gaming PCs from brands like MSI or Asus.

Note that the prebuilt gaming PC listed here are personal picks. This means that if I was looking for some of the best prebuilt gaming PC with the latest and fastest hardware, these will be my top choices. Currently, as I browse Amazon’s and Newegg’s sites for the latest prebuilt gaming PC, there’s simply a ton of them. The good thing, though, is that most SIs have updated their inventory.

In a separate article, I will list some of the prebuilt PCs with mid-range graphics cards and/or CPUs. They will be more affordable compared to the prebuilt gaming PCs listed here. These are simply some of the best and fastest, expect that they will be expensive as well. Below is a summary table of the gaming PCs I listed here. Further down, I’ll discuss some of these gaming PCs, as their specs are more or less similar from one prebuilt to another.

GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Prebuilt Gaming PCs

Skytech Prism II Gaming PC (Intel)

The first one on the list is the Skytech Prism II Gaming PC. This prebuilt is powered by an Intel Core i9-12900KS and a GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. Both CPU and GPU are the fastest and highest-end hardware that Intel and NVIDIA have. The i9-12900KS is a 16-core, 24-thread CPU with a maximum turbo speed of 5.5GHz. It is a specially binned CPU that has a higher boost clock speed compared to the regular Core i9-12900K(F). When it comes to its memory, it’s built with 64GB DDR5 memory, and powering the system is a 1000W Gold PSU. The CPU is also liquid cooled by a 360mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler.

Skytech Prism II Gaming PC (AMD)

The next one is also a Skytech Prism II Gaming PC, but this one is an AMD-based system. It is powered with a Ryzen 9 5950X 16-cores, 32-thread CPU, AMD’s current flagship processor. They also built it with an RTX 3090 Ti, 1TB of Gen4 SSD, but its memory is only 32GB, and a DDR4 kit. Like its Intel-prebuilt counterpart, its CPU is also water-cooled, and it also has a 1000W Gold PSU. However, despite having only 32GB of memory, which is still plenty enough for gaming, this prebuilt is cheaper than the Intel variant.

GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Prebuilt Gaming PCs

ABS Legend Gaming PC

For the RTX 3080 Ti prebuilt, the ABS Legend Gaming PC with an Intel Core i9-12900K and 32GB of DDR4 memory seems to be a pretty good deal for its price. Not to mention, this prebuilt looks aesthetically pleasing with (almost) all-white components. Not to mention, some of the components are from Corsair; ex: chassis, CPU cooler, memory, and chassis. It also comes with a 2TB NVMe SSD. Other prebuilt PCs usually only have 1TB of SSD for the OS drive.

Continuum Micro Gamer PC

An Intel Core i9-12900KF paired with an RTX 3080 Ti powers the Continuum Micro Gamer PC. The Core i9-12900KF is similar to the i9-12900K, but it doesn’t have a built-in discrete GPU. This means the CPU itself doesn’t have an iGPU. It’s not a big deal since the system has an RTX 3080 Ti. But there are scenarios where an iGPU can be useful, ex. troubleshooting. It also comes with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD for storage, with a 3TB HDD for additional storage space.

CUK MPG Velox by MSI Gaming Desktop

Next on the list is I think a reasonably priced and well-specced prebuilt PC from Computer Upgrade King. This one features MSI’s MPG Velox chassis, an Intel Core i9-12900KF, and a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. It also has 64GB of DDR4 memory, 1TB of NVMe SSD, 3TB HDD for additional storage, and an AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB fans. the only thing that I don’t like and perhaps CUK should have opted for is the Velox airflow version. The Velox has a glass front panel, and I’m more or less positive that the front intake fans would not be able to suck in fresh air properly or adequately. Nevertheless, this is still a good prebuilt system. Perhaps the AIO cooler should be mounted on top instead.

GeForce RTX 3080 Prebuilt Gaming PCs

YEYIAN Yari X21 Gaming PC

The Yeyian Yari X21 prebuilt gaming PC is also powered by an Intel Core i9-12900KF. But they pair this one with an RTX 3080 graphics card. So, expect that this prebuilt will be (slightly) cheaper compared to the prebuilt PCs mentioned above. It also comes with a 2TB Gen4 SSD and a 2TB HDD for additional storage. I was expecting that they would use DDR4 memory, but this one features 32GB of DDR5 memory.

The Yari X21 Intel Core i9 with RTX 3080 prebuilt gaming PC is available on Amazon.com here.

ABS Gladiator Gaming PC

If you want something better looking than the Yari X21 and don’t mind paying a little extra, the ABS Gladiator is a nice option. It also features an Intel Core i9-12900KF paired with an RTX 3080 graphics card. Like the Yari X21, this one also has 32GB of DDR5 memory but only 1TB of Gen4 SSD. Like the ABS Legend, this prebuilt is also a Corsair-themed one with Corsair components. I like the aesthetics of the ABS Gladiator, with its premium components, but it is slightly most expensive.

ASUS ROG Strix GA35 Gaming Desktop PC

If you’re a fan of Asus, this prebuilt gaming PC might pique your interest. The Asus ROG Strix GA35 (model GA35DX-XB989) features an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-thread processor, paired with a GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. It has 32GB of DDR4 memory, 1TB SSD, and 2TB HDD. This is an Asus prebuilt, so most of the components in this gaming PC are from Asus. Aside from that, it also comes with an Asus ROG Strix Scope keyboard and a ROG Chakram Core gaming mouse.

Asus ROG Strix GA35 AMD Ryzen 9 with RTX 3080 prebuilt gaming PC is available on Newegg.com here.

Skytech PRISM II Gaming PC Desktop (AMD)

Last on this list is (also) a Skytech Prism II gaming PC. But this time, it is an AMD system powered by a Ryzen 7 5800X processor. The CPU is an 8-core 16-thread processor. It’s not the fastest on this list, but it’s no slouch when it comes to gaming and productivity. It comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory and 1TB of Gen4 SSD. The specs are not as impressive compared to the prebuilt gaming PCs listed above, but this one is the cheapest on this list. Personally, I would stretch my budget a bit and opt for an RTX 3080 Ti prebuilt. But if the budget is a bit constrained, this one isn’t a bad option.

FAQ Regarding Prebuilt Gaming PCs

Pros of prebuilt gaming PCs?

One of the most obvious advantages of a prebuilt gaming PC is that it’s already assembled and is expected to work out of the box. You only need to take it out of the box; plug the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power and you are good to go. Some system integrators may have additional instructions or reminders, so be sure to check out any reading materials they provide.

Another advantage is when you encounter a problem or something isn’t working properly, you only need to contact the SI’s customer support. Unlike building the system by yourself, you’ll have to figure out which component(s) is causing the issue. And you’ll have to contact the manufacturer of that particular component. Same with a warranty. If you need to claim a warranty, just contact the SI and not the individual or specific manufacturer.

Most of the system integrators mentioned above seem reputable and have been in the business for quite some time. There are also some new SI. But based on customers’ feedback, they seem to offer good service or support.

Some System Integrators include freebies; usually a mouse and a keyboard. So that’s a bit of a plus, I guess. These gaming PCs also include the Windows operating system. They are, after all, expected to work out of the box. So, you only need to download and install the games and other apps that you need.

Cons of prebuilt gaming PCs?

Prebuilt gaming PCs are usually more expensive compared to building the system by yourself. Note that these companies don’t charge the same rate. Some SI charges are higher compared to others. That is why most people are saying that you should just build it yourself if you want to save some cash.

Also, be sure to check and compare the specs. A $2,000 gaming PC may not have the same specs inside as another $2,000 gaming PC from a different SI.

Another disadvantage of buying a prebuilt gaming PC from an SI is that you don’t know what specific component they are going to use. You know the CPU, since it’s very specific. But most of them do not disclose what brand and specific model of motherboard, graphics card, SSD/HDD, or the power supply they use; and so on. While some do disclose what component they use, most are still unclear.

Which GeForce Graphics Card Should I Choose?

If you plan to game on 1440p or 4K UHD, I would suggest the RTX 3080 (Ti) or RTX 3090 Ti. I did not include any RTX 3090 prebuilt since there’s very little difference between the performance of an RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3090. So it’s either you get the RTX 3080 Ti or go straight to the highest end, which is the RTX 3090 Ti.

Nevertheless, these graphics cards are not value-oriented and expect to pay more for the top-of-the-line hardware. The RTX 3080 is the cheaper among the three GPUs. It’s not the fastest, but it can handle games at 1440p resolution quite well. You can check out our GeForce RTX 3080 review here if you want to see some numbers. Although, the RTX 3080 Ti seems to be the more popular graphics card for high-end gaming.

Should I get an Intel-powered gaming PC or an AMD-powered gaming PC?

This is basically up to you. AMD’s latest Ryzen 5000 CPUs are not only great for gaming but productivity as well. That’s why it’s very popular. However, with the release of the 12th Gen Alder Lake processors, Intel has reclaimed its throne when it comes to the best CPU for gaming. Not only that, reviews of the Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, and Core i5-12600K got highly positive recommendations from the community. I think the Core i7-12700K is the best all-around, both gaming and productivity. However, if you simply what the best and the fastest, the Core i9-12900K(F/S) is the way to go.

I would like to add an AMD system with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Because that CPU is excellent when it comes to gaming. It can rival the Core i9-12900K in gaming, and it’s significantly cheaper than Intel’s Core i9. The only downside with the 5800X3D is that it doesn’t perform well in productivity workloads.

DDR4 vs DDR5 – Is There A (Big) Difference?

Based on our review of a DDR5 memory kit, there’s not a huge difference when it comes to gaming. There’s not a lot of difference in general. However, DDR5 memory, especially the faster kits, does have an advantage when it comes to read, write and copy compared to DDR4 memory kits. DDR5 is simply faster, especially the faster-clocked kits. You may be able to benefit from DDR5 memory if the application you use is memory intensive. But for gaming purposes only, there’s not a lot of difference.

Just remember, you can’t upgrade from a DDR4 to DDR5. No motherboard supports both DDR4 and DDR5 memory. It is either DDR4 or DDR5. If you have a DDR4-based motherboard and want to upgrade to a DDR5, you need to change to a motherboard that supports DDR5 memory.

Any Good 4K Gaming Monitor?

If you decide to get a high-end gaming PC with a fast graphics card, like the RTX 3080 (Ti) or RTX 3090 Ti, I think it is best to pair that system with a 4K gaming monitor in my opinion. I listed some of the best high refresh rate 4K gaming monitors here.

By the way, some people are (still) contented with a 1080p monitor. Although, you can pair the RTX 3080 (Ti) or RTX 3090 Ti with a 1080p high refresh rate monitor; you may experience a bottleneck. Based on our review, there’s some performance left on the table if you pair an RTX 3080 (Ti) with a 1080p monitor.
