Aside from the huge MP510 4TB NVMe SSD capacity, Corsair also released a white version of their popular Dominator Platinum RGB DDR4 memory series. We previously reviewed the original black Dominator Platinum RGB here, and it is a fantastic memory kit. It feels premium on hand and craftmanship is simply superb, inside and out. The white variant would be a perfect fit for those who are building a white-themed gaming machine. Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR4 Memory Goes White this 2020
Corsair has a history of releasing various color theme for their high-performance Dominator Platinum DDR4 memory series. This year, the company decided to make it look clean and give it a white paint job with some gold accents. The heat spreader including the top bar is colored in matte white. Meanwhile, the fins underneath the top bar are plated in gold.
The White Dominator Platinum RGB DDR4 memory also features 12 ultra-bright Capellix RGB LEDs that can be addressed individually via the Corsair iCUE software. It also features “tightly screened high-frequency memory chips” that are reported to be Samsung B-die DDR4 DRAM chips. And like its black predecessor, it also features a 10-layer PCB for signal quality and stability.
