Corsair Obsidian 450D Mid Tower Case Now Available – See Specs, Price, Reviews and Where to Buy

Corsair’s latest Obsidian case – the Corsair Obsidian 450D high airflow mid tower case is now available. The 450D features the same look and design like the other Obsidian series, but some features are actually not present to minimize the cost and to fit things in the mid-tower category. Despite its trimmed-down-size, the Obsidian 450D features a generous expansion room for building a high-performance system or gaming PC. It features a brush aluminum fascia with mesh cut-outs and a full side panel window. It also features a tool-free storage drive installation and includes two AF140L intakes fans and an AF120L exhaust fan in the rear. Find out if this mid tower case is the right case for you. Corsair Obsidian 450D Specifications

Aside from the features I mentioned above, the Corsair Obsidian 450D is made of brushed aluminum and steel. It weighs around 7 Kg and has dimensions of 494mm x 210mm x 497mm. The whole case itself is colored Black just like the other Obsidian cases. It supports Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX and E-ATX case. But an ATX motherboard is pretty much the optimal size for this case.

There are 2x USB 3.0 ports on the front panel, as well as a headphone port and a microphone port. There are 7 expansion slots on its rear. The 450D has 2x 5.25″ drive bay, 2x 2.5″ storage drive and 3x 3.5″ or 2.5″ drive bay. It has a maximum GPU compatibility length of 430mm, a maximum CPU cooler height of 165mm and a maximum PSU length of 200mm.

Meanwhile it can accommodate a 240mm/280mm radiator on front, a 240mm/280mm/360mm radiator on top, a 120mm on rear and a 240mm radiator on bottom. Unfortunately the new Corsair H105 liquid cooler isn’t compatible with this case. But the H55, H60, H75, H80i, H90, H100i, H110 coolers are compatible with the 450D.
