Crucial BX200 960GB HD Tune Pro Benchmark
Here we have the benchmark result of the Crucial BX200 960GB SSD using the HD Tune Pro 5.50 Hard Disk and SSD Utility. Average read speed I got was 367.2MB/s, however average write speed was only 96.7MB/s. I did the write test several times and it keeps showing the same result. I have seen the same write performance behavior with ADATA’s SP550 SSD, also powered with a Silicon Motion SM2256 controller with TLC NAND flash from SK Hynix.
Below are additional file benchmark test and a couple of extra tests using the same utility.
Crucial BX200 960GB CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 Benchmark
Sequential read and write speeds of the BX200 960GB are good, however it falls behind in 4K performance.
Below is the CrystalDiskMark benchmark result of the BX100 500GB we reviewed before. The BX100 has a tad better overall performance compared to the BX200 based on this benchmark tool.
On the next page let’s take a look the benchmark results I got from Anvil’s Storage Utilities.
