Gigabyte shows off their latest GeForce GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming (GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD) graphics card cooled by Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE 3x 600W cooler featuring a fresh two-toned look. Instead of having and all black design, like what we saw with the GTX 980 and GTX 970 G1 Gaming, the company added a silver highlight on the edges that definitely looks better than the all-black color scheme. More details below.

In addition to the massive tri-slot WINDFORCE 3x cooler, the Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming features a semi-passive fan profile for light gaming, plus LED indicator that will indicate the fan status. This means that the fans won’t start spinning unless the GPU hits a certain temperature (65 degree Celsius). It will also feature a WINDFORCE LED emblem that will illuminate in several different colors (7) to match your system’s color scheme.
The Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming’s WINDFORCE 3X cooler is composed of two aluminum fin stacks connected via an 8mm copper heat pipes that will deliver the heat from the GPU base. On the rear output ports, it has two DVI ports, 3x DisplayPorts and an HDMI port, and you can connect up to 5 monitors at the same time.

Gigabyte hasn’t disclosed yet the clock speeds of their flagship graphics card. But expect that it will come with a factory overclock setting, and it should be higher than the 1000MHz base and 1076MHz boost clock speeds on the reference model. The company plans to launch the GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming a few days from now.
