Gigabyte recently announced a mini-ITX version of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 for those who are space conscious or who are into small form factor builds. The Gigabyte GTX 960 Mini-ITX GV-N960IXOC-2GD is only 18.1cm long and occupies two expansion slots. The graphics card features a custom PCB, shorter than the usual GeForce GTX 960 graphics card and draws its power from one 6-pin PCIE power connector. Like the standard GTX 960 graphics card, the Gigabyte GTX 960 Mini-ITX features 1024 CUDA cores based on Maxwell architecture paired with 2GB of RAM. It has a base clock speed of 1127MHz/1152MHz and a boost clock speed of 1178MHz/1203MHz. Check out more details below.
Gigabyte GTX 960 Mini-ITX GV-N960IXOC-2GD Features
The Gigabyte GTX 960 Mini-ITX GV-N960IXOC-2GD is cooled by a small stack of aluminium fins with two 8mm copper heat pipes that features an HDT (Heatpipe Direct Touch) design, where the two copper heat pipes are exposed and directly touches the GPU chip. The graphics card sports two core clock settings: Gaming mode and OC mode. In Gaming mode you get a base clock speed of 1127MHz and a boost clock speed of 1178MHz. While in OC mode the base clock speed is bumped up to 1152MHz and its boost clock speed is 1203MHz.
It also features 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM with a memory clock speed of 7010MHz and is running on a 128-bit memory interface. For output, it has two DVI ports, an HDMI port and a DisplayPort. According to Gigabyte’s specifications it requires at least a 400W power supply and it draws its power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector.
And of course, it also features the latest NVIDIA technology like Dynamic Super Resolution, Multi-Frame Anti-Aliasing (MFAA), Adaptive Vertical Sync, NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0, NVIDIA Surround, SLI Ready, NVIDIA CUDA Technology and PCI Express 3.0. The GTX 960 is a mainstream graphics card, and is best suited for 1080p gaming.
