1440p Gaming Benchmark Results
The 1440p game resolution is the intended target resolution for a GeForce RTX 2070 Super. The format is the same, the games are also arranged in alphabetical order. But you won’t see the “RTX On” benchmark results for the Battlefield V and Metro Exodus here, since I have consolidated them in one slide on the previous page.
Below are the game benchmark results that we got for the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC. All games are tested in their respective ultra or highest graphics quality.
As you can see from the results above, the Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC is just enough to handle triple-A titled games at 2560×1440 resolution. If you are using a high refresh rate monitor, you may want to tone down or adjust a little bit the graphics quality to hit 120Hz or 144Hz with this graphics card. Of course, that depends on the game and how graphics intensive the game is.
Nevertheless, the RTX 2070 super is a good graphics card for 1440p (high refresh rate) gaming resolution. Up next let’s check out the results we got in 2160p game resolution. This isn’t really a graphics card intended for 4K UHD gaming; but just in case you are interested, go ahead and check out the results on the next page.

The card has a nasty bug where the fans go to max speed at intervals when they should remain idle. If anyone has a fix, do leave a comment.
Can you describe the instance when this bug occurs? So that we can replicate it and test it as well.
We haven’t encounter this with out 2070S Gaming OC (yet).
