Mass Effect Andromeda Weapons, Combat and Skill Classes Revealed

Makers of Mass Effect Andromeda recently released part 1 of the Mass Effect Andromeda Gameplay Series. In the first episode, the weapons, combat system as well as skill classes were revealed. It’s totally different and a huge improvement from the previous Mass Effect series. The video below reveals that players can enjoy different types of combat styles. Players also have access to a plethora of weapons, from melee weapons, pistols, shotguns, rifles and more. Mass Effect Andromeda Weapons, Skill Classes and Combat System

The Mass Effect Andromeda is based on a fast-phased and fluid third person shooter combat system. Players will be able to maneuver, evade quicker than before and even hover thanks to the jump jet. There’s also a new cover system where you can use the environment to cover from the enemies – totally a huge improvement from the previous Mass Effect series.

There are basically four types of guns you can use in Mass Effect Andromeda: pistols, shotguns, assault and sniper rifles. There are also several types of melee weapons to choose from for close combat situations. There are different weapon technology types to choose from, coming from various race or parts of the galaxy. All of these weapons can be used by the player regardless of the class of the player, and there are no restrictions.

In Mass Effect Andromeda, the player also gets to choose from a variety of skills without any restrictions. There are basically three main skill classes you can choose from: combat, tech and biotic skills.

Mass Effect Andromeda is set to be released on March 21 and will be available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4; and EA Access / Origin Access will have access to the game before its release date.
