MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Super Gaming X Review – Faster Than GTX 1080?

MSI RTX 2060 Super Gaming X – Monster Hunter World Benchmarks

Monster Hunter World doesn’t have ray tracing features, but it does have DLSS. Again, I’d rather not enable DLSS even though there is a sharpening option. I hope they would implement ray tracing in this game as well since this is one of the best games (in my opinion) released in the recent years. I tested MHW at highest graphics settings, HD texture pack isn’t enabled and I am using one of the game’s cutscene, “Asteria”, to benchmark the MSI RTX 2060 Super Gaming X for consistency. Below are the results I got:

msi rtx 2060 super gaming x monster hunter world 1080p benchmark

msi rtx 2060 super gaming x monster hunter world 1440p benchmark

msi rtx 2060 super gaming x monster hunter world 2160p benchmark

Looks like the RTX 2060 Super can comfortable handly this game up to 1440p with highest graphics quality. I would recommend to use a much faster graphics card (or lower the graphics quality) for this game if you have a high refresh rate monitor.

    • “biased fake bad test”? which one? biased no, all gpu temp tests regardless of manufacturer are tested using furmark. fake? we tested it and it’s the result we got. it’s not fake. you do know that temps are dependent on other factors as well. if your 2060s gaming x got 63c under full load then that’s great. we didn’t say this is a bad card with bad cooler. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
