Meet the MSI Prestige 14 Pink Laptop – Beauty and Power in One Laptop

The MSI Prestige 14 Rose Pink is a stylish yet powerful laptop, specifically designed for those who are looking for a, well, pink laptop. Beneath its eye-catching pink chassis is the latest 10th gen Intel Core i7-10710U mobile processor. It’s a 6 core 12 thread CPU, with a maximum turbo speed of 4.70 GHz.

The CPU is paired with a dedicated graphics processor in the form of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q. The discrete GPU isn’t particularly that powerful compared to other 13″ gaming laptops; still, it is powerful enough to drive the 1080p full HD display of the Prestige 14. The GPU can also help accelerate the performance of photo and video editing software. And yes, even though it’s not marketed as a “gaming laptop”, you can game with this machine thanks to its dedicated graphics.

Speaking of display, the MSI Prestige 14 Rose Pink features a 14-inch IPS display, with a resolution of 1920×1080. The display features anti-glare coating; and since it’s an IPS panel it has a wide viewing angle. The display covers 100% sRGB and features a thin bezel, about 90% screen ratio.

You also get an 84-key keyboard that has white back light and a (somewhat) huge or wide track pad area. The laptop itself measures 12.55″ x 8.46″ x 0.63″ and weighs only 2.84 lbs. That’s definitely ultra-portable and easy to carry around. It is powered by a 3-cell 50Whr battery; and according to MSI, it can last up to 10 hours of “productivity” use. Actual battery life may be lower, depending on how the laptop is used.

The MSI Prestige 14 Rose Pink also features a fast 512GB NVMe SSD storage, a micro SD card slot; and a fast Wi-Fi 6 AX201 with Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connection. For wired connectivity, it has a headset port; a couple of USB 2.0 Type-A ports and a couple of Thunderbolt 3 Type-C ports. There is also a 720p HD webcam; and for security it has a built-in fingerprint sensor and supports Windows Hello.

MSI also boasts that the Prestige 14 passed the MIL-STD-810 military grade standard. Meaning this laptop went through a series of “rigorous tests” to ensure the reliability and durability of the laptop.

I love computers since I was a kid. I’m always fascinated with new technology, especially in the PC world. Many years ago, I was curious if the reviews I read were true and real. So, why not test them myself and share my first-hand experience? And thus, here we are. Thanks for reading!
