MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT EVOKE OC Review – Looks Refreshingly Gold!

MSI RX 5700 XT EVOKE OC – Metro Exodus Benchmarks

Metro Exodus is one of those handful of games that features ray tracing, but since AMD’s graphics card doesn’t have that kind of features yet, we tested this game in DX11 mode. I tested the MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT EVOKE OC in Metro Exodus with ultra settings at 1080p, 1440p and 2160p resolution. I’m using the game benchmark tool as well. Below are the results I got.

Looks like the MSI RX 5700 XT is just a bit faster than the RTX 2060 Super in Metro Exodus. The difference is very slim, but generally speaking the RX 5700 XT is faster by a few frames in Metro Exodus. One thing to note though, this game does look good when you enable global illumination ray tracing. However, I would not use an RTX 2060 or RTX 2060 Super as the performance hit is significant. Enabling DLSS could improve the frame rate, but you sacrifice visual clarity or fidelity for higher frame rate.
