NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition Review – Finally An Affordable RTX Card?

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition – Synthetic Benchmarks

I tested the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition with some synthetic benchmarks first; to see how it stood against the other graphics cards. Note that synthetic benchmarks are not really representative of how they perform in real games. But they do give us a general idea on how one graphics card compare to the other in terms of raw performance. The synthetic benchmarks include 3DMark Fire Strike, 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra, 3DMark Time Spy and 3DMark Time Spy Extreme. I’ve also included Unigine 2’s Superposition benchmark at 1080p, 1440p and 2160p resolution. Below are the scores that I got with the RTX 2060 Founders Edition:

From these results alone, we could see that the RTX 2060 FE performs similarly with the GTX 1070 Ti on the 3DMark benchmarks. But the RTX 2060 FE outperformed both the GTX 1070 Ti and GTX 10180 on the Superposition benchmarks. Let’s proceed to the next page and see how the GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition performs with playable games.
