NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super Founders Edition – Metro Exodus Benchmarks
Metro Exodus is one of those handful of games that features ray tracing, well at least for now. Unlike Battlefield V’s reflections, Metro Exodus uses global illumination technique. The lighting on the environment looks realistic compared to games that uses “fake” or fixed lighting effects. I tested the RTX 2080 Super FE in Metro Exodus’ ultra settings, with ray tracing on and off and at 1080p and 1440p resolution. I’m using the game benchmark tool as well. Below are the results I got.
Like in the Battlefield V benchmark, I only tested DX 11 (RTX off) and DXR (RTX on). I didn’t test RTX with DLSS enabled; but expect to get higher frame rates when enabling DLSS at the expense of graphics fidelity (somewhat blurry image quality). Up next is Middle Earth Shadow of War.
