NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FE – Final Fantasy XV Benchmarks
For the Final Fantasy XV benchmark, I also used the in-game benchmarking tool. This is not the canned-benchmark provided by NVIDIA, instead this is one that is available for public via FFXV’s site. We’ll test the DLSS capability and show you the result later when that feature becomes available.
The results below are calculated scores and not in frames per second. Below is a table from FFXV’s site showing what these scores indicate for the gameplay.
Not much of a huge improvement here in FF XV. We see around 19% to 27% performance increase from GTX 1080 Ti AMP to RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition. The good news is, this is without DLSS enabled yet. I’m pretty sure the performance difference would significantly increase once DLSS is fully implemented in this game. I have seen how DLSS helped improved the performance in FF XV, and we will show to you that as well once it gets fully implemented.
