Patriot recently announced a new PCIe Gen4 M.2 SSD – the Patriot P400 M.2. While it may not be the fastest Patriot has, that title goes to the Patriot Viper VP4300 (review here), it offers a decent performance comparable to a 1st gen Gen4 NVMe SSD. The P400 offers a sequential read speed of up to 5,000MB/s, and a sequential write speed of up to 4,800MB/s (for the 1TB capacity). I don’t know what controller the company used on the P400. PATRIOT announces the P400 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD with capacities of 512GB and 1TB. The PATRIOT P400 was built using the latest PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe controller and best-in-class components to deliver faster data access, multi-application processing, and quick transfer speeds up to 5000 MB/s in sequential.
