Razer Edge and Edge Pro Gets Huge Discount on Amazon

The Razer Edge and Edge Pro are the most powerful gaming tablets available on the market. They are powered by the third generation Core i5 (for the Edge) and Core i7 (for the Edge Pro) Ivy Bridge processors with Hyper Threading technology. The processor is paired with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M graphics processor with dedicated memory. They also sport a 10-inch IPS multi-touch display with HD resolution and runs on Windows 8 taking advantage of the touch capabilities. Razer Edge and Edge Pro Specifications

The Razer Edge (Pro) is not your ordinary tablet. It is a full-pledge mobile gaming PC that can play and run your favorite games and applications, since it runs on Windows 8. The Razer Edge RZ09-00930200-R3U1 is powered by an Intel Core i5-3317U dual core processor with Hyper Threading, clock at 1.9GHz up to 3GHz turbo. The processor is paired with a 4GB of DDR3 memory, and a 64GB SSD for its storage. There are two display graphics processor that is powering this tablet, the Intel HD4000 (DX11) which is integrated in the processor and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE with 1GB of dedicated memory and Optimus Technology. In normal desktop operation, the Intel HD4000 is used to save energy. Meanwhile when in gaming mode, the GeForce GT 640M takes over to run the games smoothly.

The Razer Edge sports a 10.1-inch IPS multi-touch display at 1366×768 resolution and has Intel WLAN with Bluetooth for your wireless connectivity. It also has a front facing 2 megapixel HD webcam, stereo speakers with microphones, a USB 3.0 port and a combo audio/mic jack.

Meanwhile, the Pro version is basically the same with the Razer Edge but comes with a better processor, larger storage capacity and more memory. The Razer Edge Pro RZ09-00930100-R3U1 is powered by an Intel Core i7-3517U clocked at 1.9GHz up to 3GHz via Turbo, and also has Hyper Threading Technology. It has a larger memory size of 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 and the GeForce GT 640M gets 2GB of memory. Storage capacity is upgraded and you can choose from either a 128GB or 256GB capacity. Price and Where to Buy

Currently, the Razer Edge (RZ09-00930200-R3U1) is only $729.99. This was previously priced at $999.99, giving you a $270 off the price. Meanwhile the Edge Pro (RZ09-00930100-R3U1) is now only $1,080.99 for the 128GB capacity and only $1,099.99 for the 256GB capacity. Getting the 256GB model would be the wiser decision since you get twice the storage capacity for only $19 more from the 128GB capacity.
