Razer Huntsman Mini Keyboard and DeathAdder v2 Mini Mouse Now Available

Razer releases mini variants of their most popular gaming peripherals. Meet the Razer Huntsman Mini mechanical gaming keyboard and Razer DeathAdder V2 Mini gaming mouse. The Huntsman was dubbed as the best-selling gaming keyboard in the US and it’s also undeniable that the DeathAdder is one of the best gaming mice released. So, for those who have smaller hands this gaming peripherals are for you. Check out more details below.

Razer Huntsman Keyboard and DeathAdder V2 Gaming Mouse Gets a “Mini” Treatment

Let’s start off with the Razer DeathAdder V2 Mini gaming mouse. I’m not entirely sure why both products were announced on a separate date, but the DeathAdder V2 Mini was announced first early July. The DeathAdder V2 is an improved version of the original DeathAdder. And it is quite a large mouse, perfect for mid to large palm-sized gamers.

Now imagine, the same ergonomic design on a smaller and lighter body. That’s basically what the DeathAdder V2 Mini is. The DeathAdder is the gaming mouse that could accommodate the three main type of mouse grip – palm, claw and fingertip. Of course, gamers with smaller hands may not feel fully comfortable with the larger body of the DeathAdder V2. So, this makes the mini version a perfect fit, allowing gamers to play comfortably even in long hours of gameplay.

The DeathAdder V2 Mini features Razer’s optical mouse switches and is paired with an 8,500 DPI optical sensor. There are also six programmable buttons, on-board storage and 100% PTFE mouse feet. And let’s not forget Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting, but only the Razer logo has illumination.

What is a mini gaming mouse without a mini keyboard to pair it with? The Razer Huntsman Mini is said to be the company’s first ever 60% keyboard built with community-driven improvements. It features an ultra-compact form factor with Razer’s Optical switches and Razer Doubleshot PBT keycaps.

I’ve seen a lot of keyboard enthusiasts using a 60% keyboard size. I think Razer is trying to appeal to this community with the Huntsman Mini. Now to accommodate the size, Razer has to remove many features that you would see on a full-sized Huntsman keyboard. However, the mini version is still built with a sturdy Aluminum construction only in a 60% compact form factor.

The Huntsman Mini features detachable USB-C braided fiber cable, onboard lighting presets and up to 5 keybinding profiles. Gamers can choose between an Optical clicky switch or a linear switch. Each key is individually backlit with Razer Chroma RGB lighting customizable color options.

Aside from having the option to choose switches, the Huntsman Mini is also available in colors Black and Mercury. You can check out more of its features from the specifications below.

Price and Availability
