V-MODA Crossfade M-100 Headphone Review – Built for the Bass Lovers

The V-MODA Crossfade M-100 is one of the most popular headphones from the company. You can see a lot of reviewers giving it a highly recommended verdict and some even gave an editor’s choice rating. But is this headphone really for you? Will it suite your taste and preference? That’s one thing you are going to find out in this review. We are going to look at the V-MODA M-100 starting from its packaging and physical tour, and include my subjective analysis of its sound signature. Please continue reading my review of the V-MODA M-100 over-ear headphone below and find out if this headphone is your cup of tea. Before we proceed, I’d like to thank V-MODA for providing the M-100 for the purpose of this review.

V-MODA Crossfade M-100 Over-Ear Headphone Review

The V-MODA Crossfae M-100 looks pretty much like a bigger or over-ear version of the V-MODA XS that I previously reviewed before. Even its box and packaging looks and feels the same. But the M-100 actually came first into this world and the XS is actually the company’s latest headphone. Despite being a larger version of the XS, the M-100 doesn’t have the same sound signature as the smaller XS. You’ll learn more about that later.

The V-MODA M-100 features an ergonomic steelflex headband with CliqFold hinge. It also has an interchangeable metal Shield where you can add you own custom design or art work. It also has dual inputs and are made out of high quality materials. At the heart of the M-100’s cups are 50mm Dual-Diaphragm Drivers where the inner and outer rings separate the bass from bleeding into the mids and highs.

I’ll take more about its features as we take a closer look on the M-100 on the next page.
