Several days ago, ViewSonic announced its latest flagship gaming monitor built with promising features and top-of-the-line specs. Meet the ViewSonic ELITE XG321UG. The ELITE XG321UG is a 32-inch 4K monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate; features NVIDIA G-Sync and Reflex Technologies; and it’s VESA Certified HDR1400, making it a true-HDR gaming monitor. Don’t get confused by its predecessor the ELITE XG320U, which is also a 32-inch 4K monitor but comes with a different set of features. Check out more details about ViewSonic’s flagship gaming monitor below.

ViewSonic’s ELITE XG321UG 4K 144Hz HDR Gaming Monitor Is A Beast!

The ELITE XG321UG is a 32-inch gaming monitor built with a mini-LED light source and uses an IPS panel. It’s a 4K UHD with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a fast refresh rate of 144Hz. It also features NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate and NVIDIA Reflex technologies. Response Time is not the fastest, but it has a respectable 3.6ms response time.

The said 4K 144Hz gaming monitor is VESA Certified HDR1400, on paper it should be able to achieve 1400 nits of brightness. It does come with 1152 mini-LED full-array local dimming zones. It puts the ELITE XG321UG, somewhat, on par with Asus’ ROG Swift PG32UQX, a similarly specced gaming monitor.

Jeff Muto, business line director at ViewSonic”

Pricing and Availability

The ELITE XG321UG is expected to be released sometime in Q1 of 2022. There’s no exact date yet, but we should be seeing it listed on retail stores in the next following weeks or months. It comes with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $2,499.99 USD.

The XG321UG is definitely a top-of-the-line monitor loaded with all the bells and whistles. It is cheaper than the ROG Swift PG32UQX as well. But if you are looking for a 4K high refresh rate gaming monitor that costs (significantly) cheaper, ViewSonic also has the ELITE XG320U. It’s also a 32-inch 4K gaming monitor, with a 150Hz refresh rate, 1ms MPRT response time, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and HDR600-capable. It’s now available on Amazon.com here or at Newegg.com here.
