WD Black NVMe SSD ezIOmeter Benchmark Results

The ezIOmeter is an old benchmark utility released in 2015. It is a Windows-based client benchmark tool optimized for storage devices, including SAS, SATA, and NVMe* storage devices. ezIOmeter utilizes Iometer 1.1’s command line functionality to run industry trusted Iometer tests. IOmeter has an infamous reputation on being difficult to use. This is one solution to provide NVMe* testing capability while also being easy and fast to use.

Once again, the WD Black 3D NVMe SSD 1TB shows a very impressive performance. Just look at those numbers, SATA SSDs just don’t stand a chance, much more even when compared to one of the best performing hard drives in the market. Comparing NVMe SSD drives with SATA SSDs and HDDs are not apples to apples to comparison. But I’m showing you a bigger picture on just how fast can an NVMe SSD go. Up next is the results I got with HD Tune Pro.
