Just a couple of days after the official reviews of the new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition went live, Zotac announces their Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme and AMP Edition graphics cards, plus a blower type 1080 Ti with a fresh looking cooler design. The Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition’s design looks similar with their previous GTX 1080 and 1070 AMP Editions, except for a few tweaks. However, the new 1080 Ti AMP Extreme’s cooler design looks different than the previous AMP Extreme cooler shroud. I must admit, I like the new cooler design and color scheme in the new GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme edition. Check out their respective features and specifications from the official news below.

Zotac Pushes Pure Performance with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

Zotac International is pleased to raise the stakes once more with Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards, pushing the limits even higher on speed and power with the NVIDIA Pascal architecture. Like with other Zotac flagship graphics card series, the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will be available in AMP Extreme, AMP Edition and the Founders Edition.

The Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme and AMP Edition feature improved Zotac elements, emphasizing user experience befitting of a flagship product. From the tradition of quality hardware components to unique features; the Zotac AMP line of graphics cards bring much more than smooth frame rates and next generation immersion.

Zotac graphics cards feature keep improving with each iterations. Spectra LED lighting system enables greater personalization of colors and mood lighting with a wider color spectrum and new lighting modes. IceStorm cooling system comes with a metallic ExoArmor with metal backplate that protects the delicate components and cools with great mass. It utilizes direct copper contact for the core and thermal pads across other heat-generating components to achieve maximum cooling efficiency. FREEZE fan stop technology now operates smoother than ever with higher temperature tolerance and precise temperature gauging.

The Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme carries triple 90mm with blade fans, meanwhile the Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition carries dual 100mm wide blade fans. Both will be beefed with a 16+2 power phases to distribute the incoming power more efficiently and effectively for rock solid stability. Zotac also uses premium components to reduce electrical irregularities, and reinforces the reliability of the cards with PowerBoost.

Firestorm is constantly updated to provide the latest features for both existing and new graphics cards. Users are able to adjust the color, brightness and lighting style of the graphics card with a few mouse clicks. The performance-tweaking and fan settings are easy to control with a user-friendly interface with individual controls for each graphics card on any SLI configuration.
