Zotac GeForce GTX 970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition Review – The Faster GTX 970

Synthetic Benchmark Results

For synthetic benchmarking, I used some the most popular benchmarking tools: 3DMark (Sky Diver, Fire Strike, Extreme and Ultra) and Unigine Valley and Heaven. I compared the Zotac GTX 970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition with an Asus STRIX GTX 970, Asus STRIX GTX 960, Club 3D R9 285, Asus GTX 780 Poseidon, Asus GTX 780 Ti, and Asus Radeon R9 290.

Again, the older graphics cards included in the graphs below were tested at a different time and on a different test system. You can check out more details about their respective performance by visiting their respective reviews. But do note that despite I gave a recommendable or highly recommendable conclusion to the older graphics cards at the time I reviewed them, things have already changed and I wouldn’t recommend anymore that you get older generation graphics cards.

    • Hi Jesús. Thanks! Glad you liked the review. The sample we got doesn’t have any coil whine issues. As for VRAM, it depends on the game you are playing. It’s usually just around 3GB, or less. Haven’t tested it on 4K yet.
