Zotac GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 Graphics Cards Released – See Specs, Price and Where to Buy

In line with NVIDIA’s release of the new GeForce RTX 20 series graphics card, Zotac recently announced the Zotac GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 graphics cards that is available in AMP, Triple fan and Blower type cooler. I’m a little bit disappointed that I don’t see any AMP Extreme Edition yet. Perhaps these cards are just the first of the GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards, and more variants will be released in the near future. These new GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 are based on the new NVIDIA Turing architecture and its main feature or ability is real-time Ray Tracing, resulting into much better and realistic lighting, shadows and reflections. This will provide gamers a more immersive gaming experience compared to previous generation graphics cards. Check out more details about Zotac’s GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 graphics cards below.

Zotac GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 Graphics Cards Series

Currently, Zotac is offering three variants of the GeForce RTX 20 series. There’s the AMP Edition that sports higher boost clock speeds, a Triple fan edition that looks surprisingly very similar with the AMP Edition and the Blower type cooler – exact same design with the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti inside our Zotac MEK1 Gaming PC.

The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti features 4352 CUDA Cores, 11GB GDDR6 memory, 352-bit memory bus and a memory clock of 14 Gbps. You can learn more about the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (Founders Edition) here. Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 2080 is powered by 2944 CUDA cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, 256-bit memory bus and a memory clock of 14 Gbps. The boost clock speeds for the AMP Edition is not final yet, but the base clock speeds remains similar with the Founders Edition.

Zotac’s GeForce RTX 2080 Ti / RTX 2080 AMP and Triple fan edition features active fan control and SPECTRA lighting. The rest are general features that are common to all RTX 20 Series graphics cards, like Real-time Ray Tracing, NVIDIA Ansel, NVIDIA G-Sync compatible and NVLink (SLI) ready. Check out the specifications table and the press release below for more details.

Zotac Official Press Release

ZOTAC Technology, a global manufacturer of innovation, is pleased to change the playing field of graphics cards once more with ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 20-series graphics cards. The new ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 20-series will be available in twin fan and triple fan AMP models with all-new designs.

The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs have reinvented graphics and set a new bar for performance. Powered by the new NVIDIA Turing GPU architecture and the revolutionary NVIDIA RTX platform, the new graphics cards bring together real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading. This is not only a whole new way to experience games-this is the ultimate PC gaming experience.

The new GPUs were unveiled at a special NVIDIA two-day event called the “GeForce Gaming Celebration” which kicked off tonight at the Palladium in Cologne, Germany ahead of Gamescom 2018.

“ZOTAC GAMING is pleased to be standing on the new page of gaming. The NVIDIA Turing architecture opens many avenues not widely accessible as before. Not only does it bring faster performance to gamers, but more tools and technologies to game developers to shorten product cycles and increase graphic fidelity and realism,” says Tony Wong, CEO, ZOTAC Technology Ltd. “The gaming community will have a lot to look forward to.”

Founded in 2017, ZOTAC GAMING is the pioneer movement that comes forth from the core of the ZOTAC brand that aims to create the ultimate PC gaming hardware for those who live to game. It is the epitome of our engineering prowess and design expertise representing over a decade of precision performance, making ZOTAC GAMING a born leading force with the goal to deliver the best PC gaming experience. The logo shows the piercing stare of the robotic eyes, where behind it, lies the strength and future technology that fills the ego of the undefeated and battle experienced.

ZOTAC GAMING graphics cards continue to push the limit with each iteration. An all-new fan design engineered to reduce friction, turbulence, and noise while increasing air flow, duration, and coverage. Paired with a new Active Fan Control (AFC), cooling performance only gets smarter. AFC enable fans independent control in its rotation, spinning up or down when and where it’s needed. The heatsink also gets optimized with up to five 8mm heatpipes, four of them straight, and a larger and thicker aluminum fin stack array to extract more heat.

A new generation of hardware calls for a new generation of software. Firestorm, the ZOTAC GAMING graphics card fine tuning utility, has acquired a new minimal modern design to improve ease of use. The SPECTRA lighting system continues to light up the graphics card with its adjustable color, brightness, and lighting modes. The newest addition to the Firestorm utility is OC Scanner. A new tool to remove the guesswork on how to get more performance from the graphics cards. In one click, OC Scanner will analyze the graphics card hardware and calculate an optimal speed recommendation.

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 20-series graphics cards will be available for pre-order at participating e-tailers and on display at Gamescom 2018 August 20-25 and ZOTAC CUP MASTERS CS:GO Grand Finals at the Esports and Music Festival Hong Kong 2018 August 24-26.
