Sonix – Anvil’s Storage Utilities Benchmark Result

Anvil’s Storage Utilities is a powerful tool that was designed in order to provide you with a simple means of assessing the read and writer performance of your Solid State Drive or Hard Disk Drive. It helps you monitor and check the response time of your unit as well as view the system information collected using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).

For comparison, below are the Anvil’s Storage benchmark results of the Plextor M6e Black Edition PCIe SSD, Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD, and WD Black 6TB HDD respectively.

Note: If you got a really slow or low write speed with this test, try this quick fix solution. Go to Device Manager and locate Zotac Sonix from the Disk Drives. It should appear as NVMe ZTSSDPG3. Right click on it and open Properties, then click on the Policies Tab. Check or enable the “Turn off Windows write-cache buffer flushing on the device”, and be sure that the “Enable write caching on the device” is checked as well. This should fix the very slow write speed on your SSD.
