Great news for the PC community! AMD has recently dropped the prices of their award-winning 3rd gen Ryzen processors for a limited time. The Ryzen processors are already a great deal when compared to Intel’s offering even at MSRP price. And it gets even better this time, as you can get a Ryzen 9 3900X for around ~$419 only*. 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Desktop Processors Gets Discounted
AMD’s latest 3rd Gen Ryzen processors has just got more attractive with the recent price drop. The AMD Ryzen 3900X, one of the most popular CPUs nowadays, originally came with an MSRP of $499 USD. Some retailers, like Amazon were selling it for a bit lower than that. But with this limited time promotion, AMD slashed $50 off the MSRP bringing the price of the 3900X down to $449 USD.
What’s even more interesting is that retailers are selling it lower than the $449 discounted price. As of posting this article, I see Amazon and Newegg selling the Ryzen 3900X for just $419 only. That’s really a great deal! Meanwhile, Intel’s Core i9-9900K 8-core 16-thread processor is still selling for around $550USD and the Core i7-9700K 8-core CPU at around $380USD.
Remember, AMD’s Ryzen 9 3900X is 12-core 24-thread monster CPU. But that’s not even the flagship. There’s still the Ryzen 9 3950X with it’s 16 cores and 32 threads. Unfortunately, the 3950X isn’t included in this limited time promotion. It currently retails for around $739 USD.
The other 3rd Gen Ryzen processors that are included in this limited time deals are the Ryzen 7 3800X, Ryzen 7 3800X, Ryzen 5 3600X and Ryzen 5 3600. For only $175 USD, you can get a decent 6-core 12-thread CPU with the Ryzen 5 3600. It’s also one of the more popular CPUs for mid-range builds.
Aside from the discounted price, AMD has announced that users can also get three months of Xbox Game Pass free for the Ryzen 9 3900X, Ryzen 7 3800X, and Ryzen 7 3700X while supplies last! Remember, this is a limited time promotion and the exact pricing may vary by retailer.
