Corsair released today a new keyboard, not exactly a “gaming keyboard”, rather a “wireless entertainment keyboard” dubbed as the “Lounge Wizard” – meet the Corsair K83 Wireless Keyboard. The Corsair K83 features wireless connectivity via WiFi 2.4GHz 1ms speed or via Bluetooth 4.2. Of course, it can be connected using wired connection as well via USB. It has a somewhat slim profile with custom Corsair gaming scissor key switches. The numeric keypad is replaced by a touchpad with four-finger gesture support, left/right click and some multimedia controls. Since it’s primarily using a wireless connection, Corsair also added a 128-bit AES wireless encryption to protect the data being transmitted wirelessly.
