AOC Agon PRO AG456UCZD 45″ WQHD Curved OLED Gaming Monitor Now Available, Great for Sim-Racing

As OLED gaming monitors rise in popularity, we see more manufacturers release OLED gaming monitors using the latest generation of OLED panels. Recently, AOC released its AGON PRO AG456UCZD ultrawide WQHD curved OLED gaming monitor, offering a wide 44.5-inch display with a resolution of 3440×1440 and a fast 240Hz refresh rate. Since it is an OLED panel, it provides a super-low 0.03ms GtG response time and is capable of HDR10. It is also NVIDIA G-Sync compatible and has FreeSync Premium technology. It’s now available, and you can check more of its features below, including pricing and availability.

AOC AGON PRO AG456UCZD Ultra Wide Curved OLED Gaming Monitor Targets Sim Racing Gamers

AOC designed the AGON PRO AG456UCZD to deliver an immersive gaming experience, especially for sim-racers and other games that would benefit from its ultra-wide form factor. Its 44.5-inch display has an 800R curvature, giving gamers a wrap-around visual experience. It has a resolution of 3440×1440 with an aspect ratio of 21:9.

Like the latest 1440 ultrawide OLED gaming monitors, the AGON PRO AG456UCZD offers up to 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03 GtG response times. It’s also G-Sync compatible and has FreeSync Premium, making it an excellent gaming monitor.

There are only a few 45-inch OLED gaming monitors on the market (yet). Corsair’s bendable Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 OLED was one of the first, but that monitor uses an older OLED panel. The latest one is from LG, the UltraGear 45GS95QE, which is also a 45-inch curved OLED gaming monitor offering similar specs and features.

While I am certain that the AGON PRO AG456UCZD uses the latest (2nd) generation of an OLED panel, I am not sure if it uses QD-OLED or WOLED. Maybe it is using LG’s 2nd generation WOLED panel. It does cover 100% sRGB and 98.5% DCI-P3 (CIE 1976), making it also a good monitor for content creation and streaming, aside from gaming.

The AGON PRO AG456UCZD can reach up to 1000 nits of brightness in some spots, making it easy to see details in very dark scenes. It also has an anti-glare feature, so you can see the screen even when it’s sunny.

Ports and KVM Feature

When it comes to connectivity options, it has several ports since it has a KWM switch feature. The AG456UCZD has two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, a 4-port USB 3.2 hub, a USB-C port that supports 90 W power delivery, and a KVM switch to easily control multiple devices. Note that the USB 3.2 Gen1 x4 (downstream) ports are located on the right-hand back side of the monitor.

This variety of ports means you can easily hook up different devices, making this monitor a great choice for gamers and anyone who needs a monitor that can switch between work tasks, watching videos, and creating content without hassle. Thanks to its KVM feature, you can connect gaming consoles, gadgets, laptops, and other devices and switch quickly between them.

Pricing and Availability

AOC’s AGON PRO AG456UCZD is now available in the US. Currently, it retails for $1,399, making it cheaper than LG’s 45GS95QE. AOC offers a 3-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in. For the latest pricing and availability, kindly follow the link below.
