The Asus VG248QE is one of the most popular 24″ inch gaming monitor currently on the market. It’s capable of 144Hz rapid refresh rate delivering ultra-smooth motion scenes, and features a response time of only 1ms. But it’s not that perfect yet. When in gaming, specially using high end graphics card at max settings, stuttering and tearing can be experienced. This is where the revolutionary technology, called NVIDIA G-Sync, comes in. The G-Sync removes, if not reduce, screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay but doesn’t reduce the frames produced just like what a V-Sync does. So if you have an Asus VG248QE laying in your desk, I’m sure you would want to upgrade it with an NVIDIA G-Sync.
If you don’t have an Asus VG248QE, you can buy one here. Meanwhile the NVIDIA G-Sync can be purchased directly from NVIDIA’s online site, for a limited time only. Sadly, it’s not that cheap. For those who bought the G-Sync kit for Asus VG248QE already, or for those who wants to see how you can install the G-Sync kit first, watch the DIY video below.

There you have it. So do you think you can do it? If not, there are third party players like Falcon Northwest and Digital Storm who can install it for you, or buy an upgraded Asus VG248QE with G-Sync from them.
