Bose has launched a new wearable audio device that allows you to enjoy music without blocking out the world around you. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have a unique cuff-shaped design combining style and sound quality. They’re comfortable enough for all-day use, letting you experience immersive audio while staying aware of your surroundings. Enjoy your music continuously without missing a thing.

Raza Haider, chief product officer, Bose:
“The one bud phenomenon is real. We know people want a way to listen to their music while still being connected to the world around them,”. “We set out to completely reimagine the future of wearable audio and deliver a better, more beautiful, and comfortable solution to provide the best of both worlds. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds do just that. Now you can enjoy your music and life all at the same time.”

Designing the Future of Wearable Audio

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are designed for all-day use without blocking your ears, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings while enjoying music or podcasts. Whether you’re walking your dog, waiting in line at the deli, or exercising with a friend, you can keep listening without missing important sounds around you.

These earbuds boast a sleek design with smooth edges and a brushed metallic look, making them more of a stylish accessory than just a pair of earbuds. They’re compatible with glasses, hats, and jewelry because they attach to the side of your ear without causing any interference. Engineered for both comfort and stability, they feature a flexible arm with a soft silicone coating that gently rests on your skin, ensuring the earbuds stay securely in place for hours.

Bose OpenAudio & Bose Immersive Audio

The Ultra Open Earbuds deliver clear, high-quality sound with Bose’s OpenAudio technology, which uses advanced transducers and a precise acoustic structure to direct sound straight to your ears without letting it escape to the surroundings. This means you can enjoy your music privately without disturbing others.

These earbuds use Bose’s digital signal processing and an onboard Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to create Bose Immersive Audio, making you feel like you’re in the middle of a live performance. This technology provides a broad, rich soundstage that brings out the true depth of your music, offering a realistic, layered listening experience. The best part is that this spatial audio feature works with any audio platform or device, making it widely accessible.

Bose Immersive Audio offers two listening modes: “Still” and “Motion.” Use “Still” mode when you’re stationary to keep the audio fixed in one spot; it is ideal for sitting and experiencing sound from a specific direction. Choose “Motion” mode to have the audio move with you, keeping it consistently ahead, which is excellent for immersive listening while on the move.

These earbuds are durable, with an IPX4 rating for water and sweat resistance.
