As its name suggests, the Bose Ultra Open is an open-ear wireless earbuds featuring OpenAudio technology. I haven’t tested one yet, but I think it’s somewhat similar to the Sony LinkBuds we reviewed before. These earbuds are durable, with an IPX4 rating for water and sweat resistance.
On a single charge, the earbuds offer up to 7.5 hours of battery life without Bose Immersive Audio (up to 4.5 hours with Immersive Audio) and up to 48 hours on standby, allowing you to stay connected throughout the day. The charging case extends usage by up to 19.5 hours (12 hours with Immersive Audio). A full charge takes one hour, while a 10-minute quick charge gives you two hours of playtime.
