Gigabyte Aorys 17X (2023) RTX 4090 Gaming Laptop Now Available
Gigbayte’s new AORUS 17X is equipped with an up to 13th gen Intel Core i9-13950HX processor and the max TGP NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU, providing unbeatable performance. Dynamic Display Switch (DDS) technology and the market’s highest-spec DDR5-5600 memory provide higher frame rates. According to Gigabyte, the powerful cooling technology makes the chassis unbelievably thin, dominating the gaming world with an overwhelming performance.
The specific model available to order on Amazon.com is the Aorus 17X AZF-B5US665SP. It features a 24-core Intel Core i9 13900HX CPU with a boost clock speed of up to 5.4GHz. It also has NVIDIA’s latest GeForce RTX 4090 mobile GPU with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM. Memory and storage-wise, it’s equipped with a DDR5-6000MHz 32GB capacity and a 2TB NVMe Gen4 M.2 SSD.

Chassis and Design

Cooling Solution
The AORUS uses a large-area full coverage vapor chamber with more powerful thermal conductivity. They quickly transfer the heat from the CPU, GPU, and other high-performance components to the exhaust vents, improving cooling efficiency by 35%.
There are four 12V fans that can continuously draw in cool air and expel internal heat. Each fan blade is only 0.2mm thin. The 50% blade thickness reduction improves the blades’ density and air intake space, providing better airflow. The powerful aerodynamics of the special blade curvature design create stronger airflow and provide never-before-seen cooling.
The Aorus 17X also has 324 cooling fins distributed around the four exhaust vents, providing a total fin area of 206682mm. The 129% increase in fin area accelerates cooling.
