Asus Launches Vivobook S Series (2024) Transforming Workdays and Empowering Students
ASUS has introduced the ASUS Vivobook S series laptops, a game-changer for productivity and AI capabilities. These sleek and portable devices are powered by AI-boosted AMD Ryzen™ 8040 Series or Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, delivering an impressive 50-watt TDP performance. They also feature a Copilot key, providing quick access to Windows 11 AI tools, further enhancing your productivity and empowering you to do more.
The ASUS Vivobook S series laptops feature OLED displays with up to 3.2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing realistic visuals, full DCI-P3 color coverage, and VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 600 certification. The series includes three sizes: the 14.0-inch Vivobook S 14 OLED S5406, the 15.6-inch Vivobook S 15 OLED S5506, and the 16.0-inch Vivobook S 16 OLED S5606 with Intel processors, and a 16.0-inch model, the Vivobook S 16 OLED M5606, with an AMD processor.
The ASUS ErgoSense keyboard is both stylish and comfortable, featuring customizable RGB backlighting and a large ErgoSense touchpad. The laptops are designed with user-friendly features like a 180° hinge that allows the screen to lay flat, an IR camera with a privacy shutter, a complete set of ports, and high-quality Dolby Atmos® audio from Harman Kardon-certified speakers.
The 2024 Vivobook S Series OLED laptops are thin, light and powerful
The ASUS Vivobook S series has been redesigned to be thinner and lighter, with a sleek all-metal body starting at 0.63 inches thick and weighing just 2.87 lb. These laptops balance their slim, minimalist look with strong performance, featuring the latest AMD Ryzen™ 8040 Series or Intel Core Ultra 9 processors.
Depending on the model, they come with AMD Radeon® or Intel Arc™ graphics, up to 16 GB of fast 7500 MHz LPDDR5X memory, and up to 1 TB of PCIe® 4.0 SSD storage. They also include the ASUS IceCool cooling system, which has enhanced heat pipes, 97-blade IceBlade fans, and air vents, allowing these slim laptops to support up to 50 W TDP.
The AMD Ryzen™ 8040 Series Processors come with an integrated AMD Ryzen™ AI accelerator, which optimizes workloads to improve performance by allowing the CPU and iGPU to focus on their tasks more efficiently. Ryzen™ AI also introduces new features that enhance multitasking, video quality, productivity, and collaboration, setting the stage for future technological developments.
