Razer recently announced the “world’s first” gaming laptop with a 240Hz OLED display. The display will offer brighter, more vivid colors, 1ms fast response time since it’s OLED, 400 nits of brightness, and up to 100% DCI-P3 colors. The new Razer Blade 15 240Hz OLED variant is powered by the latest 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900H CPU, paired with a discrete NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti GPU. However, there’s a catch with this one. Razer Blade 15 with 240Hz OLED Laptops Display – “World’s First”

I wish Razer would name its laptops properly. There are a lot of Razer Blades “XX” already in the market with varying specs, model and generation. Its naming scheme can get really confusing, especially for the average consumer, or who is not savvy or up to date with what’s latest. Anyway, going back to the topic.

A brand-new model of the Razer Blade 15 featuring an OLED QHD 240Hz display will soon be available for purchase. Yes, it’s not available yet! According to Razer, this “never-before-seen panel brings brighter, more vivid colors to life at esports-level speeds like no other laptop today. Paired with a 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti laptop graphics card, the new Blade 15 stakes ground as an easy choice for both gamers and creators alike.”

Razer added that it features an “ultrafast” 1ms response time with a typical 400 nits brightness and include up to 100% DCI-P3 colors. It make the new Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop not only great for gaming, but for productivity as well.

The new model of the Razer Blade 15 comes with a 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, with an additional M.2 slot for additional storage space. Like the rest of the Blade family, it also features the tried-and-true CNC-milled aluminum chassis, laser cut speaker grills, and versatile connectivity with Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, full-sized SD card reader and an HDMI port.

Pricing, Availability and Release Date

So here’s the kicker, this new Blade 15 OLED with 240Hz display will not be available until Q4 of 2022. Razer also didn’t mention when on Q4 exactly. But they did mention that it will come with an MSRP of $3,499.99.

If you don’t want to wait that long, the non-OLED versions of the Blade 15 are now available. You can choose from 11th gen or 12th gen CPU, but go with the 12th gen CPU since performance difference is substantial. And it also comes with an RTX 3070 Ti or RTX 3080 Ti. The panel is a QHD 240Hz display, and there’s a 360Hz FHD variant as well. Check out the links below for the latest pricing and availability.
