The new Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition boast a base clock speed of 1607MHz with a boost clock speed of 1733MHz. Its memory clock speed is set to run at 1000MHz. Aside from its impressive performance, the Zotac GTX 1080 Founders Edition has a 180W power consumption and you only need a 500W power supply for it to fully work. The previous generation Maxwell GPUs (GTX 900 series) were already power efficient, but the new Pascal graphics card takes power efficiency into a new level.

The Zotac GTX 1080 Founders Edition has 3x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0b and 1x DL-DVI for its output connectors. It also supports 12 API feature level 12_1 and OpenGL 4.5.

In addition, there are reports saying that the new GTX 1080 Founders Edition is limited up to 2-way SLI only. This means the said graphics card may no longer support 3 or 4-way SLI, at least for the Founders Edition.

The said graphics card will start to go on sale this coming May 27, 2016 and will have a suggested retail price of $699.
