In this list of the best tower PC cases, I have listed several full-tower and a couple of mid-tower cases. These cases can handle all types or sizes of mainstream motherboards, from (mini) ITX to E-ATX. These are also high airflow cases with good intake and exhaust. They can also handle even the chunkiest RTX 4090 cards or the best RTX 4080 cards in the market. Finally, although these cases are big and heavy, they can easily handle air or water cooling. Some of these also have unique features that you may find useful.
ASUS ROG Hyperion GR701 – Best Full Tower Case Overall
First on the list is the Asus ROG Hyperion GR701, an E-ATX full-tower case that can support a dual radiator and comes with pre-installed 4x 140mm fans. The ROG Hyperion has an aggressive design and aesthetics, and it definitely has that gamer vibe.
Most of the materials used in the ROG Hyperion are metal, and there is also a built-in metal graphics card holder to prevent the graphics card from sagging. Proper cable routing with cable ties can be found behind the motherboard tray, and the tempered glass side panel is tool-free. There is even a hidden drawer in the lower section for things like screws, brackets, etc.
If your motherboard only has a few fan headers, that’s not a problem with the ROG Hyperion GR701. There’s a fan and ARGB hub located at the back side, and it can support 8 ARGB fans or 6 PWM fans. This full tower case also supports both vertical and horizontal graphics card orientation.
I guess the only real cons about this case is it lacks support for full-sized hard disk drives. Or you can sacrifice the ROG-themed lighting panel and install up to three 2.5″ SATA SSDs instead. The Hyperion GR701 is also pricey, as expected from a premium Asus product. The ROG Hyperion EVA-02 Edition (red) is even more expensive than the vanilla Hyperion.
Overall, the ROG Hyperion GR701 is one of the best full-tower cases you can get. Albeit, it is on the expensive side, and the design is aggressive.

Cosmos C700M – Iconic and Best Full Tower Case from Cooler Master
The next one is a legend and an iconic case from Cooler Master – the Cosmos C700M full tower case. The first Cosmos was released back in 2007, and I have no idea how many Cosmos generations Cooler Master has released already. Back in the day, I can remember that the Cosmos was one of the most popular, if not the most popular, full tower case. The new Cosmos C700M has some semblance to its predecessors, but the newer one has more flare and features.
The Cosmos C700M features a curved tempered glass side panel with a unique (internal) frame and versatile layout. You can use the conventional layout, chimney, or inverted layout. Aside from the tempered glass, the panels and the handles are made from aluminum, giving it a more premium look and feel.
You can also orient the graphics card in a slightly slanting vertical orientation, giving it a stylish position, like presenting or showcasing the graphics card. The Cosmos C700M also features addressable RGB lighting, with plenty of connectivity options and support for custom liquid cooling.
On the flip side, one cons of the Cosmos C700M is its price, which is slightly higher than the Hyperion. The Cosmos C700M is also heavy, about 23.8Kg just the case alone.

MSI MEG Prospect 700R Mid-Tower PC Case
MSI isn’t primarily a case manufacturer. But in recent years, they have released several cases. Some had a (very) lousy design or airflow, while others were quite good, like the MPG Velox 100P Airflow. But the MSI PC case I included in this list is their current flagship, MEG Prospect 700R. Note that there is also a 700RL, but we only focus on the 700R since the other one lacks some unique features.
The MEG Prospect 700R’s design looks boxy, and some may say it’s uninspiring. But it looks clean and less aggressive than the Hyperion or Cosmos. The unique and selling feature of the Prospect 700R is its top-front touch panel display. You can control and change the ARGB lighting, control the fan speed, and it can also display some information.
My concern with this case is that the touchscreen display has untapped potential. For example, it can’t display the components’ temperature, CPU, and GPU, even though the MSI Center software can read them. It can only detect the temperature depending on where you place the case’s sensor. Also, the vertical mount is included, but the riser cable is sold separately. Nevertheless, it is cheaper compared to the full tower case above.

Corsair iCUE 5000T RGB Mid-Tower Case
Last but not least is the Corsair’s iCUE 5000T RGB case. This one is somewhat similar to the Prospect 700R in the sense that it’s a traditional mid-tower case with good airflow, both intake and exhaust. Its unique feature is the 208 RGB LEDs that can be found on top and at the bottom of the case. Three LL120 RGB fans are also included, and it comes with an iCUE Commander Core XT controller.
If you plan on buying a Corsair AIO liquid cooler, fans, and other (Corsair) accessories, you can integrate and sync all of them using the same iCUE software. There’s also room for 2.5″ SSDs (3x) and 3.5″ HDDs (2x). The top-front panel ports include a combo audio jack, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port, with dedicated reset and power buttons.
Like the other cases on this list, its tempered glass side panel is tool-free and can easily be removed. Overall, the iCUE 5000T RGB case is a clean and well-thought mid-tower case. However, like most mid-tower cases, it doesn’t come with the versatility and expansion of the Cosmos C700M.

Both are premium PC cases with outstanding design and features. Ultimately, it will come down to the components expected to be installed inside the chassis and the final look.
