Hyte, the company that popularized the aquarium-type PC case, recently released its latest addition to its Y-series case. Meet the new Hyte Y70 Touch. As its name suggests, the Hyte Y70 Touch features an integrated 4K touchscreen display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It also supports large and chunky graphics cards, like some of the best RTX 4090 or 4080 cards, that occupy four slots. Hyte also included a “luxury” PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable that supports the latest-generation graphics cards. This dual-chamber mid-tower ATX case can support up to 360mm-sized radiator and is available in four unique colorways. HYTE Releases Y70 Touch, the Latest Addition to its Y-Series of Cases

HYTE, a prominent manufacturer of innovative PC components and peripherals, is pleased to introduce the Y70 Touch, the most recent inclusion in its renowned Y-Series chassis lineup, boasting a vivid 14.1″-inch 1100×3840 capacitive touchscreen thoughtfully integrated into the corner panel.

Integrated Touchscreen

A larger iteration of HYTE’s popular Y60 model, the Y70 Touch elevates interactivity and immersion within a PC case to new heights. Its 10-point multi-touchscreen comes pre-installed; boasting a remarkable 283 pixels per inch density, delivering a remarkably clear and fluid visual experience. This feature allows users to engage with the PC continuously, extending its functionality beyond the initial build.

The Y70 Touch offers customizable options through HYTE Nexus Touch. This platform provides various engaging widgets for a personalized digital experience. Users can conveniently monitor system performance, interact with Twitch chat, enjoy games, view their Google calendar, check the weather and time, jot down notes, and more – all from the corner of the Y70 Touch, enhancing both convenience and functionality.

Ginormous Cooling Capacity

The renowned HYTE Y-series ventilation pattern remains a hallmark of the Y70 Touch. Now, it has been optimized with lower impedance for increased airflow and cooling capacity. The case can accommodate an (up to) 360mm radiator on the side and within the adjustable top bracket. Furthermore, the Y70 Touch comfortably supports air coolers with up to 180mm height. For enhanced airflow, users have the option to mount up to three 120mm fans in the Y70 Touch’s basement. This configuration provides a direct and efficient cooling stream to the graphics card.

Unified Modern Aesthetic

The Y70 Touch is available in four distinct color combinations: Snow White (white/white), white/black, red/black, and black. The case includes a PCIe 4.0 riser cable with a color-coordinated canopy, allowing for uninterrupted visual continuity and exclusive vertical GPU mounting. This configuration can accommodate up to a four-slot graphics card, making it suitable for even the largest and most powerful cards. Additionally, seven half-height horizontal PCIe slots are accessible behind the GPU for added hardware support.

The interior layout of the Y70 Touch employs a dual-chamber design to optimize component visibility in the front while providing ample space in the rear for straightforward cable management. The top and side panels of the Y70 Touch are tool-less, facilitating upgrades and maintenance and permitting users to create a hybrid, open-frame design by removing the glass panels. Seamless L-shaped molded rubber grommets are seamlessly integrated around the motherboard tray, making a cohesive appearance. Furthermore, the inclusion of reusable Velcro straps, carefully positioned routing channels, and tie-down points ensures that the rear of the case is as aesthetically pleasing as the front.
