At CES 2024, NVIDIA officially announced its latest GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series GPUs. The new GPUs are the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER. It is no longer a surprise if you keep tabs on the recent rumors. With the new RTX 40 SUPER cards, NVIDIA is determined to beat the competition, as these new SUPER cards offer (slightly) better specs and pricing. The RTX 4080 SUPER and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will replace their predecessors. Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 will remain in the lineup but will drop in price since the new RTX 4070 SUPER starts at $599, the starting price of the RTX 4070. NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER Series Released
NVIDIA recently introduced the GeForce RTX™ 40 SUPER Series GPUs: the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER. These GPUs enhance gaming and power AI-driven PCs with the latest Ada Lovelace architecture, offering up to 52 shader TFLOPS, 121 RT TFLOPS, and 836 AI TOPS. Priced from $599, the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER is designed for PC gamers seeking top-notch visual quality.
According to NVIDIA, PC gamers demand the very best in visual quality, and AI-powered NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction combine with ray tracing to offer stunning worlds — just a click away in titles such as Diablo IV, Pax Dei and Horizon Forbidden West. With DLSS, seven out of eight pixels can be AI-generated, accelerating full ray tracing by up to 4x with better image quality.

NVIDIA GeForece RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GPU
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is a top-choice GPU for achieving high frame rates in games at 1440p and up to 4K. It outperforms the RTX 4070 Ti with more cores, an expanded 16GB frame buffer, and a 256-bit memory bus, resulting in a substantial memory bandwidth increase to 672 GB/sec. It’s 1.6 times faster than the RTX 3070 Ti and 2.5 times faster with DLSS 3.
Unfortunately, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will not be available in a Founders Edition graphics card. Only the RTX 4080 SUPER and RTX 4070 SUPER will have a Founders Edition model.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU
The RTX 4070 SUPER boasts 20% more cores than the RTX 4070, providing faster performance than an RTX 3090 while consuming less power. When utilizing DLSS 3, it achieves a 1.5x speed advantage.
THE RTX 4070 SUPER will not replace the RTX 4070. Instead, it will sit between the RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. Expect the RTX 4070’s price to be updated since the RTX 4070 SUPER will sell at the starting price of the RTX 4070 when it was first released.
Pricing and Release Date
The GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER will be available starting January 17, 2024, with an MSRP of $599. Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will be available beginning January 24, 2024, with an MSRP of $799. Finally, the RTX 4080 SUPER will be available starting at the end of the month, January 31, 2024, with an MSRP of $999.
