Zotac GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 Graphics Cards Leaked!

The entire line up of Zotac’s upcoming GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards was just leaked! Makes me wonder if this was intentional or not. There are just too many graphical details in the leak. The lineup consists of the Zotac GeForce RTX 3090 AMP Extreme, a new Trinity HoLo, Trinity, Twin Edge HoLo, and Twin Edge. HoLo means “HoloBlack” featuring an iridescent holographic finish where the color shifts “across the spectrum in stillness”. Sounds like RGB lighting on the next level. Check out how the Zotac GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards look like below.

Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity Leads the Pack, Trinity HoLo to Follow

It looks like Zotac plans to release the Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity, RTX3080 Trinity, and RTX 3070 Twin Edge first. Judging from the name, the Trinity will have the three-fan design, while the Twin Edge will have the dual-fan configuration. There are a total of 8 graphics cards that Zotac plans to release according to the leak, via Videocardz. These cards are the following:

  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3090 AMP Extreme
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity HoLo
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3080 AMP Extreme
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity HoLo
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge HoLo
  • Zotac GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge

Looks like a pretty solid lineup. However, the best looking graphics card, which is the Trinity HoLo and Twin Edge HoLo will not be available at launch. According to the leaked materials, the HoLo variants will come on a later date, a.k.a “coming soon”. Perhaps Zotac didn’t have enough time to roll out the HoLo effect. Or perhaps they want the non-HoLo variant to be sold first.

I’m no marketing expert, but shouldn’t Zotac put their best graphics card forward first, to “outshine” the competition? Let me know what you think. Because I am quite interested to see what that HoLo effect in real-life; sounds like a cool effect if you ask me.

Also, it looks like the Zotac’s RTX 3090 and/or RTX 3080 will feature three 8-pin PCIe power connectors instead of the new 12-pin PCIe power connector. I guess NVIDIA’s Micro-Fit 3.0 will be limited to the Founders Edition only.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Specifications

The GeForce RTX 3090 is the flagship graphics card featuring a GA102-300 7nm GPU and will have 5248 CUDA cores. The boost clock speed is said to be 1,695 MHz and is paired with a 24GB GDDR6X memory. The RTX 3090’s memory clock speed is said to be 19.5Gbps and a memory bandwidth of 936 GB/s, running on a 384-bit memory interface. It’s thermal graphics power or TGP is 350W.

Expect that Zotac’s GeForce RTX 3090 will feature a different core clock speed. AIB partners don’t usually overclock the memory, so the memory clock speed may be similar to NVIDIA’s configuration. TGP may also be different should Zotac decide to increase the GPU clock speed.

Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 Specifications

Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 3080 will feature a GA102-200 GPU, with 4352 CUDA cores and a boost clock speed of 1,710 MHz. The memory size of the GeForce RTX 3080 is only 10GB GDDR6, with a memory clock speed of 19Gbps, and a memory bandwidth of 760 GB/s running on a 320-bit memory interface. Its thermal graphics power is not that far from the RTX 3090, as its TGP is 320W.

Again, it is expected that Zotac will have a different GPU clock speed based on the model or SKU of the graphics card. I’m guessing that the AMP Extreme and Trinity HoLo will feature a higher clock speed vs NVIDIA’s RTX 3080. Maybe the RTX 3080 Trinity will have the same config as NVIDIA’s RTX 3080. I’m just guessing here, but it’s usually how Zotac spreads out their graphics cards.

Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Specifications

Finally, the Zotac GeForce RTX 3070 is the only graphics card to feature a dual-fan design; thus the name Twin Edge HoLo and Twin Edge. I’m guessing that the RTX 3070 will not be as power-hungry compared to the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080, since a dual fan configuration is enough to cool it off.
