However, most of them use 1st gen OLED panels, not to mention a lot of them or almost all are 1440p 240Hz OLED gaming monitors. 4K OLED was not available yet, but that has changed now. LG announced its first dual-mode 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor a few weeks ago, the LG Ultragear 32GS95UE. Recently, MSI announced a trio of QD-OLED gaming monitors. And finally, at CES 2024, Asus unveiled several OLED gaming monitors: the 39-inch ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM, the 32-inch PG32UCDP (similar to LG’s), and the 27-inch PG27AQDP OLED monitor that is capable of 480Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP stands out as the world’s first dual-mode gaming monitor, featuring a Frame Rate Boost function that allows users to switch seamlessly between 4K 240Hz and FHD 480Hz modes.
Completing this impressive lineup is the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP, recognized as the world’s fastest 27-inch OLED monitor with a refresh rate of 480Hz. This will be the company’s flagship eSport gaming monitor, replacing its predecessor, the ROG PG27AQDM 1440p 240Hz.
