Cheapest RTX 4080 Graphics Cards Ahead of Black Friday Deals

Black Friday deals are still several weeks from now, but there are a lot of deals and discounts happening already. Currently, we spotted several GeForce RTX 4080 graphics cards that are selling below NVIDIA’s MSRP of $1,200. These are presently the cheapest RTX 4080 you can pick. They are still relatively expensive cards, though. After all, the RTX 4080 is currently the second fastest gaming GPU from NVIDIA. They are not the most premium type of cards, but they perform well and as expected. Not to mention, they are cheaper than the premium cards. Check out the “cheap” RTX 4080 cards below.

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB AMP Extreme AIRO

Cheap ZOTAC RTX 4080 16GB AMP Extreme AIRO

I was surprised that Zotac’s RTX 4080 AMP Extreme Airo is one of the cheapest RTX 4080 cards currently available. The AMP Extreme Airo model is Zotac’s flagship graphics card. It has a unique design, a cool-looking holographic frame, and 5-zone RGB lighting. This graphics card was built to show off. Currently, it’s 21% off, putting it below NVIDIA’s MSRP. It’s even priced similarly to the RTX 4080 Trinity OC. I’d pick the AMP Extreme Airo between the two, especially if they have the same price.

The Zotac RTX 4080 AMP Extreme AIRO also boasts a 24 power phase VRM design, plus 3 power phase for the memory. It also has an excellent cooling solution and runs silently, even at full load. The downside of this card is it is pretty big and chunky, occupying almost 4 PCI slots. Although its backplate is metal, the front cooler shroud is made of plastic.

I’m not sure how long this deal will last, perhaps until Black Friday; who knows? But I have been seeing this graphics card’s price drop frequently. If the price is right, this is definitely one of my top picks.

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Trinity OC

Cheap ZOTAC RTX 4080 16GB Trinity OC

While the AMP Extreme Airo is the more attractive graphics card from Zotac, they also have the RTX 4080 Trinity OC. It is currently priced similarly to the AMP Extreme Ario at around $1,099.99, which is still below NVIDIA’s MSRP. This graphics card doesn’t have much flare to it. The only RGB lighting it has is on the Zotac logo located at the front-side portion of the graphics card.

The RTX 4080 Trinity OC runs silently, even at full load, and never touched 70°C when we reviewed this card. I’m also impressed with its performance since it performed on par with the more expensive and premium MSI RTX 4080 SUPRIM X graphics card. There are a few things that I don’t like about this graphics card. The odd shape and plastic shroud made it feel a bit cheap on hand. Nevertheless, it’s one of the cheapest RTX 4080 cards available. But I’d still pick the AMP Extreme Airo if they are priced similarly.

PNY GeForce RTX 4080 16GB XLR8 Gaming VERTO EPIC-X RGB

Cheap PNY RTX 4080 16GB XLR8 Gaming VERTO EPIC-X RGB

PNY has the longest product name for its RTX 4080. Fortunately, it is one of the cheapest RTX 4080 available, currently priced similarly to Zotac’s cards. The RTX 4080 XLR8 Gaming Verto Epic-X features a boost clock speed of up to 2505MHz, which is not the fastest out of the box. But it runs silently thanks to its large heatsink, and its temperature barely touches 70°C as well.

It has a somewhat aggressive aesthetics with an “X” RGB lighting on its cooler shroud. The backplate is metal with a “V” cutout on its rear end. I wouldn’t overclock this graphics card further since it only has a 14+3 power phase design. And it’s more important to keep the system and the GPU running cool so that it can boost longer and higher.

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4080 Eagle OC

Cheap GIGABYTE RTX 4080 Eagle OC

The GeForce RTX 4080 Eagle OC is Gigabyte’s cheaper series or model. The Aorus are usually the premium ones with more flare to them. Meanwhile, Gigabyte’s Eagle OC cards have a simple design with minimal RGB lighting. While its backplate is metal, its front cooler shroud is plastic. It also features dual BIOS, where users can switch between the OC mode (default) or silent mode. But considering how big the heatsink of this graphics card is, and with its triple fan with alternating spin, I’d set it in OC mode all the time.

I have nothing further to comment about its build quality or aesthetics, but it will perform similarly to most RTX 4080 cards in the market. On top of that, the RTX 4080 Eagle OC is currently the cheapest RTX 4080 card in this list, around $1,060. I don’t know if the price will go down further, especially during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday season, but this card is currently the cheapest RTX 4080 available.
