WD Black NVMe SSD HD Tune Pro Benchmark Results
HD Tune Pro is a hard disk / SSD utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive’s performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more. Below are the results I got with the read and write benchmarks.
The WD Black 3D NVMe SSD looks consistent with its read performances. However (again) we see several (huge) drops on its write performance. This could be an isolated case specific to this drive we got here, or it could be something else. Finally, the PCMark 8 Storage benchmark results and the conclusion of this review on the next page.
