LIAN LI Launches the GALAHAD II LCD – Its First AIO with 2.88″ IPS LCD Display
LIAN LI Industrial Co. Ltd., an established leader in chassis and PC accessories, introduces the GALAHAD II LCD, its first all-in-one cooler featuring a built-in LCD display. This innovative cooler boasts the latest 3600 RPM Asetek 8th gen. pump, a 2.88-inch IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 480×480 pixels, a 30mm thick radiator equipped with fully rotatable 45° angled fittings, pre-installed fans, and pre-applied thermal paste, offering a reassuring 6-year warranty.
The GALAHAD II LCD is available in three distinct configurations, including 280 and 360 with ARGB fans and a 360 model with UNI FAN SL INFINITY fans, each of which is offered in black and white variations.
Galahad II’s 2.88″ IPS LCD Display
The GALAHAD II LCD is equipped with an integrated 2.88-inch IPS display featuring a 480×480 resolution, capable of showcasing a wide range of critical system information, including CPU/GPU temperature, load status, pump RPM, and coolant temperature.
L-Connect 3
Utilizing L-Connect 3 allows individuals to personalize their display, incorporating layers of predefined effects, uploading images (jpg, png), GIFs, or videos (mp4) as different backgrounds, and custom text. This can be done while ensuring the display interface is appropriately oriented based on the mounting configuration.
Most preset effects offer both static and dynamic modes, where users can set the speed and intensity or have them adapt to system hardware parameters like CPU/GPU load, speed, or temperature. Moreover, the built-in image and video editor facilitates direct modifications to screen recordings and captures. Users can upload videos (MP4) of up to 2GB and select up to 3 minutes of footage. The pump block also integrates two LED strips, which are diffused and customizable via L-Connect 3, harmonizing with the LCD display.
Cooling Features
The GALAHAD II LCD incorporates Asetek’s advanced 8th-generation water pump, known for its noteworthy improvements, including a 3-phase motor that can reach 3600 RPM, ensuring efficient high-flow performance with minimal noise. Its cold plate has been newly designed in a square shape, optimized to suit the latest Intel and AMD processors perfectly.
With a range of under-the-hood system enhancements, this cooler operates even more quietly than previous generations. Furthermore, the GALAHAD II LCD features a 30mm thick radiator with a unique 20 FPI single wave fin design, which not only offers ample surface area but also minimizes airflow resistance, facilitating effective thermal dissipation, especially when combined with fans with lower static pressure.
Ease of use
The GALAHAD II LCD radiator is thoughtfully designed with 45-degree rotary fittings, simplifying tube routing and overall installation. These fittings offer a full 360-degree rotation capability, allowing users to customize the tube orientation to their preference. To further enhance the installation process, every GALAHAD II LCD series model comes with pre-installed fans and pre-applied thermal paste, ensuring a hassle-free setup. Additionally, extra thermal paste is conveniently provided for situations where remounting is required.
